Strawberries booming in Limburg!

The strawberry is booming. The harvest of the fruit was at a record high last year.

In the Netherlands about 54 million kilos of summer strawberries were picked, which is a doubling compared to the 90s. After Brabant, Limburg is the second largest strawberry province in the country.
