At Brookberries, we employ between 80 and 100 people year-round. During peak harvest periods, from April to June and September to October, our team grows to 250 people. Most of our workforce consists of international employees from Poland, Romania and Ukraine. We have a core team of around 20 people, including international team leaders, who manage the teams. We also work closely with staffing agencies.
Brookberries is a true family business, proudly run by two families. We have a flat and transparent organisational structure; owners Marcel and Peter are present every day and are often seen walking through the greenhouses. Everyone is welcome to approach them, fostering a strong personal connection and a pleasant working environment. We do what we say and say what we do. At Brookberries, it’s all about commitment, teamwork and mutual respect. The dedication of our team is truly remarkable; many employees return year after year, helping us produce the tastiest strawberries. We fetch ice creams on hot days, buy chocolate eggs at Easter and take good care of our people. This fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly reflects our company, where our people feel at home.
